OK that's better.....here it is folks: the first little snippet form me in all my shiny glory. I thought it better to take this particular opportunity to explain what it is I am actually doing here.
Some of my friends have these blog things which they edit fairly regularly. I personally, have never really seen the appeal. Then, the other evening I was down the pub having a rather interesting conversation about my views on stuff. Stuff in general. Stuff that's going on everyday in my life, your life, their life, his life, her life......just stuff.
I pondered as to how to communicate these views outside of my immediate circle of friends who are used to hearing me. And so I am here.
It's not that I moan (and it was never intended to be a forum for a good old yak and a moan); I simply wanted an outlet to express my mind. Some of you, by now, will have decided that this is not the place for you and it is from here I bid you farewell and wish you luck on your merry adventures.
For those who are still reading, I thank you for joining me on my adventures (and by goodness do I have quite a few!) as I try to get to grips with what's going on in the world, try my best to figure out what it's all about and as I try to decide why everyone else seems to have gone bonkers.
I will try to pass on as much wisdom as I can (this has been largely picked up from experiencing all those situations you will luckily never have to) and whilst absolutely none of it is peer-reviewed, checked or backed up by a single shred of evidence, it may just help you. In some little way.
It is these small experiences of total strangers that can sometimes help us, make us laugh, inspire us or entertain us. If I do any of these things for you, then I have achieved every goal I will ever set out to meet as a Teacher Of All Things.
